All the money that comes in is “our” money, we make decisions about how to spend (or not to spend) it together and we each have money included in the budget that’s designed for fun. We’ve been doing it this way for about…seven years? Maybe eight years? I know it doesn’t work for everyone, but it works well for us.

Even so, I never considered the negative connotation with the term breadwinner, so this was an interesting read.
