Ok, I just discovered your post via another blog giving you a shout out. LOVE THIS! It's like you're my spirit blogger LOL! I'm constantly baffled by all of the clothes that I manage to have. I do wear everything...but, I feel like everything has gotten so complicated (every single time I look at my clothes). Btw, I keep earning ThredUp credit so I basically don't pay for clothes. Looking forward to reading more posts.

I wish I would have tracked my journey in detail like this! I would have been on par or coming in at even higher with the amount of clothing/shoes/accessories I had. So proud of you for taking this first step. It is only going to allow you to start seeing how many things (outside of your closet) you own that you definitely do not need. If you need help slimming it down even more, let me know :) I have a great set of color, pattern and texture rules to follow that helps in creating a capsule so everything matches everything! It really helped me in narrowing it down to not just the LOVE items but maximizing a small amount of clothing to make a wider range of outfits and expression!

It was seriously so interesting! And yes. I totally need to take quality into consideration while building a capsule wardrobe. I'm used to buying cheap clothing that wears out quickly. Over those days though.

LOL YES! We do. High school clothes for life. But not actually. I'm so glad I got rid of those bad boys haha. Buying things you love is a good rule of thumb as well.

Of course, we are twinning online ;)! 75% less is so amazing! Good for you. I really need to go back through again in the next few months. I could probably ditch 10-15% more of my clothing at this point.

I've never counted my clothes before because I'm lazy, but maybe I'll give it a try. Anyway, good for you for paring down! Although I think there's a way to achieve what you want (sending a message with your clothes) with very few clothes. It's better, not more!
