I definitely don't buy clothing and makeup the way I used to. These days, I find the only times where I spent on either of those things is when it's time to replace them. The big exception for me is hair products -- I have a lot of really, really curly hair and after YEARS of struggling to manage it, I finally found products that work. They're pricey and I hate that, but they work so...

To balance that out a little, one thing I am working on cutting out of my budget is salon costs. I started dying my hair when I was a teenager (ugh) and it's such a vicious cycle, man. A couple months back, I had an appointment to start the process of going back to my natural colour and I think I have one more to go to get there. After that, I'm done with getting my hair professionally coloured (and colouring it in general). Ready to embrace a more natural look!

I’m about to go for this challenge, I’ve been thinking about it for a few days. My credit card bill is nearly £1000. My monthly salary will only just cover it. That’s without household bills or food! I frequently weed my wardrobe and have loads of clothes and nothing to wear! I really don’t need anything new, maybe some new underwear but not right now. Fingers crossed I can do this!

THIS WAS MY 2017!!! Shout out to Frugalwoods, as it inspired me to go a full year with no make up, no new clothes and no weighing myself. Talk about dedication!
