Now I know what my time is worth, what I’m willing to do with it, and when to walk away.

It really depends, if I’m pricing out work to a company, I’m pretty firm on price, but when pricing out to individuals (tech IT) then it depends. Are they living in social housing? Do they have a car? Do they have kids? How old are they? Some people don’t care about that, but I say, reading people is part of business and most people are smart enough to see when one is sincere and generous where you can be more willing to do them a solid. All depends…

That’s great advice, too! I don’t see a problem with setting your own boundaries and sticking to them. All the power to you.

I work in a small family business with my father. Once we give someone a price for a job we don’t negotiate. Ever! My dad always says that if they try to get you down on your price you don’t wanna work for them anyway. I guess it has saved us a lot of time over the years.
